Health & Safety Policy

Health and Safety Law - what you need to know

KBK is totally committed to the health and safety of its employees and anyone else we come into contact with during the course of our business activities.

We consider it a priority to promote a greater awareness of health and safety issues, including safe working practices, among our employees and encourage them to take all possible measures to minimise the risk of accidents and ill health at work.

As a responsible employer that values its people, KBK ensures that any staff who are required to work alone or without supervision for significant periods are protected from risk to their health and safety while at their place of work.

At the contract level, health and safety implications are identified on every job undertaken. Risk assessments and method statements are issued along with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations) data information as required.

We are in the process of appling for a Registered Carriers of Controlled Waste license from The Environment Agency.

We work closely with an external health and safety advisory company, ensuring that our staff are up-to-date with all the latest regulations and training procedures and work within all relevant Health & Safety regulations.

We are SafeContractor Approved which ensures that our employees visiting clients' premises operate in a safe way.

A copy of our Health & Safety Policy is available on request.
